Welcome to your SAT practice test review on Khan Academy

Congratulations!

You completed a full-length practice test!

We're super glad you're here to dig deeper into the questions and answers from the test—along the way, we'll share some top tips to help you improve your score.

How to use this resource

We recommend that you keep this browser tab open next to the tab with your test results on the College Board site.

Go back and forth from College Board to Khan Academy, and review the questions you missed!

Some top-scoring students like to try the questions they missed again without looking at the answers—you can do that here, then reveal the answer one choice at a time.

Then, click Explain to check out our extended explanations.

Next, you can click through to a full tutorial about the question type, including videos and articles. If the mood strikes you, you can practice similar questions right inside the lesson.

Finally, be sure to check out the entirety of our digital SAT prep course.

You've got this!

Stick with it!

The more time you spend looking carefully at the questions you missed, watching example videos and reading up on the specific strategies you can use for each question type, the stronger your SAT muscles will grow—we promise!

One of the best ways to increase your scores is by studying. Stop taking too many practice tests; instead, study more. Take the practice test at least 5-7 days after you took the former one. It’s crazy how your score will begin to increase. I hope this helps someone.

I got 1380 in practice test 1. SAT isn't really my main goal, so I won't be practicing a lot for SAT. How can I improve and get 1550 in the August SAT.

I hate to break it to you, I think a 1500 is a huge reach. A 1400+ is also a reach but MUCH more doable.
If you're scoring 1080, you're likely just not thorough with your concepts. If you've done enough math practice, you can consistently get 700+. After that it's just going through your mistakes and working on your problem areas to ensure you don't make them again. This is by FAR the most important thing because otherwise you end up wasting time practicing things you already know. As for English, follow Khan Academy's english course and the "strategies" they use for each question type.

I got one mistake in the reading section out of the total 98 questions and got 1570, isn't it a bit harsh to lose 30 points on one question? Will the official test in March be graded on the same curve?

Practice a lot. Try doing something every weekday, including finishing the Khan Academy SAT prep course. Considering there's a month until the test, you should have a solid study plan. If you feel there may not be enough time, opt for the November test date and get your money's worth.
